Amazonas Governor announces Fundeb bonuses and major public exams

Amazonas Governor Roberto Cidade has confirmed that the state government will pay the Fundeb (Fund for the Maintenance and Development of Basic Education) bonus to teachers, pedagogues, and administrative staff in the state public school system by the end of 2026.

This announcement follows a 4.14% salary adjustment and is accompanied by the launch of a major public examination process. The state is offering 7,862 vacancies, with 2,622 positions located in the capital and 5,240 in the interior, covering roles for teachers, pedagogues, and educational support professionals.
