Italy hosts various regional beauty pageant finals

Various regional beauty pageants across Italy are concluding their selection phases for major national and international competitions.

In the Miss Italia circuit, Letizia Esposito and Caterina Porsia were elected Miss Potenza and Miss Matera, respectively, in Basilicata. In Lazio, Maria Rachele Italiani won the regional final in Formia, earning a spot in the national pre-finals in Rome. Meanwhile, in Calabria, Alessandra Romano was crowned Miss Bandiera Blu 2026 during the Miss Italia Calabria tour in Santa Maria del Cedro.

Other notable competitions include the Miss Grand Prix, with final rounds scheduled for late August in Abruzzo, and the Miss Universe Italy 2026, which will hold its final phase in San Ferdinando di Puglia starting August 24. Additionally, Sofia Tani won the Miss Blumare 2026 interregional final in Alassio, and Melissa Visaggio was named Miss Bellezza Italiana 2026 in Zapponeta. The Miss Italia Campania regional final is also set to take place in Sorrento at Villa Fiorentino.
