Alessandria Volley Academy launches community and school outreach

Alessandria Volley Academy is launching a new community outreach initiative to connect with local municipalities, schools, and families. The project aims to promote sports as a tool for education, growth, and social cohesion, offering pathways ranging from Minivolley S3 to competitive youth sectors.

The first meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, October 7, at 6:30 PM in the Borgoratto Alessandrino town hall, organized with the support of Mayor Simone Bigotti. The Academy also plans to expand its presence in local elementary schools, with approximately 2,000 students already involved in the school tour program.

Additionally, the club is introducing a ‘Volley Scholarship’ program to reward young athletes who demonstrate both sporting commitment and academic excellence, integrating physical activity with educational development.
