Alessandro Borghi reflects on career and family at age 40

Italian actor Alessandro Borghi is celebrating his 40th birthday on September 19, marking a period of personal reflection and professional maturity. In recent interviews, Borghi has emphasized that his strength and solutions to life's challenges are rooted in his family, specifically his partner Irene and his son, as well as a close circle of ten friends.

Reflecting on his career, Borghi discussed the transition from his early days as a stuntman at Cinecittà to becoming a prominent figure in contemporary Italian cinema. He noted the disorienting nature of sudden success, describing a period where he felt “with my feet a bit in the air.”

His filmography includes acclaimed roles in ‘Non essere cattivo’, ‘Suburra’, and ‘Sulla mia pelle’, the latter of which earned him a David di Donatello. Known for his transformative abilities, Borghi has adapted his accent and physicality for various roles, ranging from ‘Il Primo Re’ to ‘Supersex’. He is currently featured in the films ‘Serpenti’ and ‘Nessun dolore’, both of which were part of the 83rd Venice International Film Festival.
