Giro d'Abruzzo: Lennart Jasch wins second stage

The Giro d'Abruzzo cycling race has seen significant action across its opening stages. Alessandro Fancellu of MBH Bank CSB Telecom Fort secured the first stage victory after an attack in the final 300 meters, maintaining his position as the general classification leader.

In the second stage, Lennart Jasch of the Tudor Pro Cycling Team won the 143 km route from Popoli Terme to Caramanico Terme. Jasch executed a decisive solo attack approximately 1.2 kilometers from the finish line, finishing 9 seconds ahead of Dorian Godon. This victory moves Jasch into second place in the general classification, trailing Fancellu by only 4 seconds. Mathys Rondel sits in third place, 6 seconds behind the leader.
