Italy hosts diverse classical and jazz musical performances

Various musical events are scheduled across Italy, featuring prominent soloists and ensembles. In Mendicino, jazz pianist Alessandro Galati will perform “Piano Solo” as part of the “Sguardi a Sud” series. In Capua, virtuoso Francesco Libetta is set to perform works by Beethoven and Chopin at the Museo Campano.

Other notable performances include the Duo Buccarella–Scarcella at the Palazzo Ducale in Atina, and pianist Bruno Canino in Secondigliano, where his performance will integrate EEG technology to transform brain waves into visual art. In Catanzaro, the Orchestra dell’Accademia Teatro alla Scala and pianist Ruben Micieli will perform works by Beethoven, Stravinsky, and Mozart.

Additional cultural programming features the Traetta Opera Festival in Bitonto, an interactive jazz and funk concert by the Orchestra Tempus Fugit in Cantù, a social-environmental themed concert by Duo Mistral in Bari, and a decennial celebration for the Tower Jazz Composers Orchestra in Ferrara.
