Alessandro Grilli appointed director of Dioniso journal

Alessandro Grilli, a professor at the University of Pisa, has been named the new director of “Dioniso,” a journal dedicated to the study of ancient theatre. The appointment was announced by Marina Valensise, the CEO of INDA, during an international conference on “Ancient Theatre and Literary Genres” held at Palazzo Greco.

Grilli succeeds Guido Paduano, who led the publication for 15 years. The new director will oversee the editorial, scientific, and international expert committees, with the goal of revitalizing the journal and making it a tool for knowledge for the general public.

In addition to the leadership change, INDA is set to inaugurate its academic year for the theatre school on Friday, October 23, featuring the presentation of professional courses, pedagogical paths for schools, and workshops for children and adolescents.
