Alessandro Paissan killed in motorcycle crash on Gardesana 45Bis in Trentino

Alessandro Paissan, a 40‑year‑old employee of the A22 highway office in Trento, died after his motorcycle left the road on the Gardesana 45Bis near Dro, Italy. According to early reconstructions, Paissan was overtaking other vehicles when he lost control, causing the bike to strike a car and be thrown into the opposite lane where a van attempted to avoid him but collided with him.

Emergency services—including the fire brigade, road police, a helicopter from Trentino Emergenza and an ambulance—reached the scene quickly, but Paissan was pronounced dead at the scene. Police are investigating the precise cause of the loss of control and the sequence of events leading to the fatal impact.
