Defender Alessandro Vogliacco has completed a permanent transfer from Genoa CFC to Serie B side U.S. Cremonese. The move was confirmed after he passed the required medical examinations and the club issued an official statement. Coach Marco Giampaolo will have Vogliacco available immediately, with the player expected to feature in the upcoming test match against Verona.
Vogliacco, 24, brings a versatile defensive profile, capable of playing as a right‑back or centre‑back. He has amassed 105 Serie B appearances with Benevento, Pordenone and Padova, and played over 40 Serie A matches for Genoa and Parma. In the 2022‑23 season he featured in 14 games for Greek side PAOK Saloniki, including Europa League fixtures, and has represented Italy at every youth level from Under‑15 to Under‑21.
