Alessandro Vogt joins Heidenheim on loan from Hoffenheim

Swiss striker Alessandro Vogt has joined 1. FC Heidenheim on loan from TSG Hoffenheim. The 21-year-old forward, who also holds Italian citizenship, will remain with Heidenheim until the end of the 2026/27 season.

Vogt, a former standout for FC St. Gallen, joined Hoffenheim this summer but struggled to secure a place in the squad following an ankle injury and changes in transfer targets. The loan agreement does not include a purchase option. Vogt expressed that the move to the 2. Bundesliga is a vital step for him to gain match practice and prove himself in German professional football.
