Filipino tennis star Alex Eala has begun her US Open campaign with mixed results in New York. In a Stars of the Open exhibition match held for the USTA Foundation, Eala faced American Iva Jovic. Jovic won the match 6-3, marking her third victory over Eala this year. Eala, the 17th seed for the women's singles tournament, is now preparing for her main draw campaign. Her path includes a first-round match against a qualifier, with a potential third-round matchup against Jovic if both players advance.
