Alex Fernández recovers after hospitalization for influenza and salmonella

Singer Alex Fernández has publicly addressed his recent hospitalization, which forced the cancellation of his performance during the Independence Day celebrations in Culiacán. In an interview from Guadalajara, the son of Alejandro Fernández stated that his health is improving and he expects to return to the stage this week.

Fernández explained that his condition deteriorated while he was working in Las Vegas. Due to the severity of his symptoms, a private flight intended for Culiacán had to be diverted to Guadalajara for emergency medical attention. The artist revealed he suffered from a combination of influenza and salmonella, resulting in both pulmonary and gastrointestinal infections.

While he expressed some uncertainty regarding the exact details of the illness, he remains optimistic about his recovery and thanked the medical specialists who treated him.
