The documentary highlights the difficulty of obtaining interviews, with many associates of Musk reportedly refusing to speak due to fear. One notable claim comes from Ashley St. Clair, the mother of one of Musk’s children, who stated she was offered a $40 million payment and $100,000 per month to maintain silence, an offer she rejected.

Gibney, who runs Jigsaw Productions, has built a career unmasking powerful figures through works such as ‘Going Clear: Scientology’. While his net worth is estimated at $50 million, it stands in stark contrast to the massive wealth of his subjects.
