Alex Haditaghi plans new traditions and investment for Pogoń Szczecin

Alex Haditaghi, the Canadian owner and president of the Polish football club Pogoń Szczecin, has proposed several new club traditions. In a social media post, Haditaghi suggested reserving the number 12 jersey for fans, naming stadium entrances after club legends, and introducing a pre-match ceremony where the Polish national anthem is performed live before the club's anthem.

In addition to these cultural proposals, Haditaghi is expected to further capitalize the club. Reports indicate a planned injection of between 5 and 10 million PLN before the end of the year. This would mark his fourth capital increase, bringing his total financial commitment to the club close to 50 million PLN. Since taking control in March 2025, Haditaghi has worked to stabilize the club's finances following previous periods of debt and losses.
