Alex Horne to host new Channel 4 gameshow Your Time Starts Now

Channel 4 has commissioned a full eight-episode series of ‘Your Time Starts Now’, a new play-at-home gameshow from Alex Horne and Andy Devonshire. Following a successful pilot, the series is set within the ‘Taskmaster’ universe.

The show features five teams of friends and families across the UK competing from their own homes. Participants must use creativity, lateral thinking, and teamwork to complete devious tasks. Each task offers a cash reward, and at the end of an episode, the leading household can choose to keep their winnings or risk them to play for double the amount the following week, creating the potential for multi-million pound prizes by the end of the series.

Alex Horne, the creator and host, noted that the show provides a rigorous framework for people to perform tasks that are often done informally at social gatherings. The series is developed by Horne and Devonshire with support from Avalon.
