Alex Iwobi has made Premier League history by becoming only the fifth player and the first African to record at least 100 appearances for three different clubs. The Nigerian midfielder reached the milestone during Fulham’s 3-2 defeat against Crystal Palace at Craven Cottage.

Iwobi’s career includes 100 appearances for Arsenal, 123 for Everton, and 100 for Fulham. He joins an exclusive group of players to achieve this feat, alongside Gary Speed, Rory Delap, Gareth Barry, and James Milner.

Despite the personal achievement, Fulham suffered a setback in their match. After taking leads through Joshua King and Cesar Palacios, Fulham conceded goals to Tyrick Mitchell and Ben Chilwell, resulting in a comeback victory for Crystal Palace. The loss marks a difficult start to the season for Fulham under manager Alvaro Arbeloa.
