Alex Jones discusses motherhood guilt regarding ‘The One Show’

Alex Jones, the presenter of BBC’s ‘The One Show’ for 16 years, has spoken about the ‘mum guilt’ she experiences due to her career. Jones noted that her evening hosting duties mean she is often unable to be home for her three children’s bedtimes.

Ahead of the series’s 20th anniversary, Jones described her professional life as her ‘dream job’ but admitted to struggling with work-life balance. She shared that despite her efforts to manage her commitments alongside her husband, Charlie Thomson, she often feels she has not yet ‘cracked it.’
