Alex Kentucky tribute event scheduled in Puerto de la Cruz

The Canary Islands electronic music scene will gather this Saturday, October 10, in Puerto de la Cruz for ‘Eterno Alex’, a tribute to DJ and producer Alex Kentucky. The event will be held at Terraza La Clá starting at 15:30.

Kentucky, a Tenerife native, passed away in August 2025 due to cancer. His career was defined by a strong connection between the Canary Islands and the electronic music scene in Ibiza. His musical style was noted for its versatility, ranging from warm, Balearic-inspired Deep House during the day to more avant-garde club sounds at night.

In addition to his work as a DJ, Kentucky was involved in music production, radio, and artistic direction. The tribute will feature various artists and colleagues, including Aday Chinea, Aitor Robles, Beto Uña, and others, to celebrate his professional legacy and impact on the electronic music community.
