Alex Lifeson credits Austrian clinic for Rush reunion
Rush guitarist Alex Lifeson revealed that a health clinic in Austria played a pivotal role in the band’s reunion. After suffering from chronic nausea for 18 months and undergoing unsuccessful surgeries, Lifeson sought treatment at the Vivamayr establishment.
Lifeson noted that bandmate Geddy Lee accompanied him to the clinic for moral support. Through wellness treatments and dietary guidance at the facility, Lifeson lost 30 pounds and learned to manage his arthritis. These health improvements helped Lifeson overcome doubts regarding the band’s reunion tour, which he had previously felt uncertain about due to his physical struggles.
