Alex Major competes for Mr England after major weight loss

Alex Major, a 25-year-old from Bolton, England, is competing for the Mr England title following a significant physical and personal transformation. Previously weighing over 150 kilograms and struggling with severe acne, Major reported suffering from very low self-esteem and avoiding social contact.

Major attributes his weight loss to a fundamental change in diet and increased physical activity rather than weight-loss injections. He transitioned to healthier meals, such as chicken, tuna salads, and beef, while eliminating beer. His fitness routine included cardio sessions at the gym approximately six times a week, eventually bringing his weight down to 89 kilograms.

Beyond his physical changes, Major has entered the modeling industry and volunteers with Age UK Bolton. He has also gained experience modeling in Portugal.
