Brazilian athletes secure medals in surfing and mountain biking

Brazilian athletes have achieved notable results across various international and regional competitions. In El Salvador, 18-year-old surfer Luara Mandelli secured a bronze medal at the ISA World Junior Surfing Championship, marking the first time a Brazilian woman has reached the podium at this event in twenty years.

At the South American Games in Santa Fe, Argentina, mountain biker Alex Malacarne earned a silver medal despite mechanical issues during the final laps. In the women's cross-country event, Brazilian athlete Karen Olímpio took the bronze medal, following a Chilean 1-2 finish led by Catalina Vidaurre.
