Alex Martínez brings Venezuelan harp to Karol G tour

Venezuelan harpist Alex Martínez, known professionally as Arpamartinez, is gaining international exposure by joining singer-songwriter Elena Rose’s band. Martínez is performing as part of the opening act for Colombian artist Karol G’s stadium tour across the United States.

This collaboration aims to introduce the traditional Venezuelan harp to global pop and urban music audiences. Martínez was selected for his technical ability to blend llanero folklore with pop and rock styles. His performances include high-profile venues such as the Kaseya Center in Miami and specialized meditation projects produced in collaboration with Spotify.

The tour schedule includes dates in several U.S. cities, including Chicago, Las Vegas, Inglewood, Foxborough, East Rutherford, Atlanta, Miami, Tampa, and Arlington. Previously, Martínez made history as the only Venezuelan harpist to perform at a FIFA World Cup, playing for VVIP guests in cities such as Dallas and Kansas City.
