Alex Meschisvili case: Former suspect claims new evidence suggests kidnapping

Twenty years after the disappearance of Alex Meschisvili, a former suspect living in the United Kingdom claims to possess evidence that could fundamentally change the understanding of the case. The individual, who was previously accused of involvement in the child's death, asserts that he was wrongfully convicted and denies any involvement in bullying or physical harm toward the victim.

Forensic psychologist Christina Antonopoulou reported receiving an email from the individual requesting legal assistance to reopen the investigation. The former suspect claims that his evidence, which suggests Alex was kidnapped rather than murdered, was never evaluated by the relevant authorities. Lawyer Vaso Pantazi has expressed intention to take on the case and is currently awaiting authorization and the individual's arrival to proceed.
