IndyCar qualifying sets front rows at St. Louis’s World Wide Technology Raceway

The NTT INDYCAR SERIES opened its Bommarito Automotive Group 500 weekend at World Wide Technology Raceway with Kyle Kirkwood taking third on the grid, Will Power starting 21st, and Marcus Ericsson in 12th position. In the Indy NXT support race, Lochie Hughes captured his first oval pole, posting a two‑lap average of 162.578 mph, followed by Alessandro de Tullio and teammates Max Taylor and Josh Pierson. Series leader Enzo Fittipaldi missed qualifying after a technical inspection failure and will start near the back.

Practice sessions saw Pato O’Ward record the fastest lap at 172.696 mph, while Alex Palou secured pole for the Indy GP at Gateway with a 280.59 km/h average speed, his fourth consecutive pole of the season. The qualifying sessions set the starting order for the upcoming night races at the St. Louis venues.
