Alex Pereira predicts Ciryl Gane will win UFC 334 heavyweight title fight

Former two-division UFC champion Alex Pereira has predicted that Ciryl Gane will defeat Josh Hokit in the upcoming UFC 334 heavyweight title fight at Madison Square Garden.

Gane, who was promoted to undisputed champion following Tom Aspinall vacating the title, is set to make his first title defense against Hokit. Speaking on The Ariel Helwani Show, Pereira argued that while Hokit is on a winning streak, his opponents have not been at their best. Pereira noted that Hokit appeared to struggle with fatigue in recent bouts, suggesting he may find a five-round championship fight difficult.

Despite expressing dissatisfaction with the current matchmaking, Pereira is preparing for a bout against Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 335 in December. A victory over Pavlovich could position Pereira to challenge the winner of the Gane vs. Hokit matchup for the heavyweight championship.
