Alex Pereira to face Sergei Pavlovich at UFC 335 in Las Vegas
Former UFC two-division champion Alex Pereira is set to face Sergei Pavlovich in a five-round co-main event at UFC 335. The bout will take place on December 12 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Pereira, who previously held titles in the middleweight and light heavyweight divisions, is remaining in the heavyweight category following a second-round TKO loss to Ciryl Gane in June. A victory in this matchup is considered crucial for Pereira to re-enter the heavyweight title contention.
Pavlovich enters the fight on a three-fight winning streak, including a recent knockout victory over Tallison Teixeira. The Russian fighter is looking to secure his path back toward a heavyweight title shot after previous encounters with Tom Aspinall and Alexander Volkov.
