Alex Rodriguez doubts future Yankees Old-Timers’ Day invitations

Alex Rodriguez has expressed doubt regarding his future relationship with the New York Yankees, stating, “I don’t think I’ll get invited back,” during a recent podcast appearance.

Rodriguez, who played 12 seasons for the franchise and won two American League MVP awards, has not appeared on the official roster for the Yankees’ Old-Timers’ Day in recent years. While his tenure included a 2009 World Series championship, it was also marked by a performance-enhancing drug scandal and a season-long suspension. Although he returned to Yankee Stadium for the 15th anniversary of the 2009 championship in 2024, he has not been included in the announced lists for the 2025 or 2026 editions of the event.
