Alex Skolnick Trio to record live performance at New York's The Iridium

The Alex Skolnick Trio (AST) has announced that its final performance of 2026, scheduled for Sunday, October 25, will be recorded for a future live release. The concert will take place at the historic Iridium nightclub in New York City.

Led by Testament guitarist Alex Skolnick, the trio includes bassist Nathan Peck and drummer Matt Zebroski. The performance is expected to feature guest appearances, including seven-string guitarist Ron Jackson, who will perform a duo with Skolnick before joining the full trio.

The group, known for blending jazz fusion with metal influences, follows the release of their sixth LP, ‘Prove You’re Not A Robot’ (2025). Skolnick’s work with the trio has gained critical acclaim for its genre-bending arrangements and technical proficiency.
