Alex Ullom wraps filming on horror movie ‘4 X 4: The Event’

Director Alex Ullom has completed principal photography for his upcoming horror film, ‘4 X 4: The Event’. The project marks Ullom’s second collaboration with the distributor Neon following his debut feature, ‘It Ends’.

The film’s plot centers on eight contestants participating in an illegal sensory-assault livestream where survival depends on killing opponents using only items ordered online. The production is a collaboration between Spooky Pictures and Image Nation Studios.

The ensemble cast features Jaden Smith, Sophia Lillis, Dylan Minnette, Marcel Ruiz, Quintessa Swindell, Maddie Phillips, Mitchell Cole, and Jacob Tremblay. Neon has acquired the worldwide rights for the film, which is slated for release next year.
