Alex Witt departs MS Now after 27-year career

Alex Witt MS Now broadcasting news anchor Antonia Hylton

MS Now anchor Alex Witt concluded her nearly three-decade career with the network on Sunday, hosting her final broadcast of ‘Alex Witt Reports’. Witt joined the network in 1999 and has hosted a three-hour weekend afternoon program since 2011.

During the final broadcast, Witt handed over duties to her successor, Antonia Hylton. Hylton is scheduled to debut her new weekend program, ‘The Assignment’, on September 12. Colleagues across the network provided tributes to Witt, marking her long tenure in the television news industry, which began in 1990.

In her final monologue, Witt expressed gratitude to her production team, executive producer Nick Kovijanic, and her family.
