Alexander Albon jokes about Red Bull as Williams hunts new race engineer

During the Formula 1 summer break, Williams driver Alexander Albon appeared on the programme “Grill the Grid” and made a light‑hearted comment about his former team, Red Bull, saying “Everyone’s been fired at this point” in reference to the team’s frequent driver changes.

Albon also spoke about Williams’ ongoing search for a new race engineer. The team had targeted Tom Hart, but he chose to stay with Red Bull, where he is set to replace Gianpiero Lambiase. Current race engineer James Urwin is moving to a factory‑based role, and Williams has a shortlist of candidates, with Albon involved in the selection process.
