Alexander brothers sentenced to 30 years for sex trafficking

Alexander brothers sex trafficking luxury real estate federal sentencing Manhattan

Tal, Oren, and Alon Alexander were each sentenced to 30 years in federal prison on Tuesday in a Manhattan courtroom. The three brothers, formerly prominent luxury real estate brokers and a security executive, were convicted in March of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion.

Prosecutors argued the brothers used their wealth, social status, and access to luxury properties to lure women to high-end locations, including Miami, New York, the Hamptons, Aspen, and on Caribbean cruises, before drugging and sexually assaulting them. While 11 women provided testimony during the trial, prosecutors stated that more than 70 women had come forward with allegations of abuse.

During the sentencing hearing, several victims delivered emotional statements describing the lasting psychological harm caused by the assaults. In their defense, the brothers maintained their innocence. Oren Alexander attributed past insensitive behavior to growing up in a “hook-up culture,” while Tal and Alon Alexander also denied the allegations of drugging or raping victims.
