Alexander brothers sentenced to 30 years for sex trafficking

Three brothers—Tal, Oren, and Alon Alexander—have each been sentenced to 30 years in federal prison for leading a long-running sex trafficking conspiracy. The sentencing took place in a Manhattan federal court before U.S. District Judge Valerie Caproni, who described the defendants' conduct as “monstrous.”

The brothers, who were prominent figures in the luxury real estate and security sectors, were convicted in March of conspiracy to commit sex trafficking and other related offenses. Prosecutors alleged that for over a decade, the men used their wealth, social status, and promises of luxury to lure women and girls to high-end locations, including the Hamptons, Aspen, Miami, and various Caribbean destinations, where they were drugged and sexually assaulted.

During the sentencing hearing, approximately 12 victims addressed the court, sharing accounts of the profound psychological trauma and lasting harm caused by the assaults. While prosecutors had sought life sentences, Judge Caproni opted for the 30-year term, noting that a life sentence would be “draconian.” In addition to prison time, the brothers received 10 years of supervised release and significant fines, with Tal fined $350,000 and the twins, Oren and Alon, fined $300,000 each.
