Alexander Donski exits US Open men's doubles in second round

Bulgarian tennis player Alexander Donski and partner Jan Choinski (GB) were eliminated in the second round of the US Open men's doubles tournament. They lost in a close match against the fifth seeds, Christian Harrison (US) and Neal Skupski (GB), with a score of 6:7(1), 3:6.

Donski's performance at the US Open marked his Grand Slam debut in doubles. He made history as the first Bulgarian to win a doubles match at the tournament following a first-round victory over Martin Dehm and Mackenzie McDonald.

Donski is currently experiencing a career peak, holding a record ATP doubles ranking of 90. His recent season includes three Challenger titles in New Delhi, Oeiras, and Quebec, along with a final in Kingston.
