Alexander Hold returns to SAT.1 with new courtroom series

SAT.1 is relaunching the courtroom series ‘Richter Alexander Hold’ with 50 new episodes. Following strong viewership for reruns, the network is moving the show to a new daily 6:00 PM timeslot starting October 27, 2026.

The comeback will be preceded by a primetime special film titled ‘Richter Alexander Hold – Der Prozess seines Lebens’ on October 26, 2026. The film focuses on an attempted murder of a businessman and its potential connection to a kidnapping from 16 years prior.

Returning cast members include prosecutors Christina Dissmann and Stephan Lucas, along with bailiff Frank Seelhoff. New additions to the legal team include defense attorney Matthias Klagge and lawyer Jana Jürgen. The new episodes were produced by Filmpool in Munich.
