Alexander Hold returns to Sat.1 with new courtroom series

Alexander Hold is returning to television as a judge in a new 50-episode season of his courtroom format on Sat.1. The series, titled ‘Richter Alexander Hold – Seine neuen Fälle’, was recorded in Munich and is scheduled to premiere on October 27. Following the initial launch, episodes will air weekdays at 6:00 PM and will also be available on the streaming service Joyn.

This return marks a significant shift in programming, as the show moves from an afternoon slot to the early evening lineup. Hold, who also serves as the Vice President of the Bavarian State Parliament, noted that the format will maintain its focus on seeking truth and justice. The production features returning figures such as prosecutors Christina Dissmann and Stephan Lucas, as well as bailiff Frank Seelhoff, alongside new legal experts Matthias Klagge and Jana Jürgen. To promote the comeback, Sat.1 will air a special episode during prime time at 8:15 PM on October 26.
