Alexander Hold to return to TV court show on SAT. 1
Judge Alexander Hold is returning to television with a new court show on SAT. 1. After a 13-year hiatus from the screen, filming for the new series began on August 26 at Bavaria Studios.
Produced by Filmpool, the first season is expected to consist of 50 episodes. The comeback includes a prime-time special. Hold, who is 64, continues his political career as a Vice President of the Bavarian State Parliament.
In addition to the Hold revival, Filmpool is reportedly developing other formats for SAT. 1, including a new court show centered on real-life neighborhood disputes involving issues such as property boundaries and pets.
