Alexander Isak finds form at Liverpool following record transfer

Alexander Isak has significantly improved his performance for Liverpool following a difficult debut season marked by injury. After signing from Newcastle United for a British record £125 million in August 2025, the Swedish striker struggled with a broken leg and managed only four goals in 22 appearances.

In the current campaign, Isak has become a vital component of the attack, scoring six goals and averaging nearly one goal per game. His recent goal contributed to a 2-0 victory over Brighton, helping Liverpool maintain a winning run. Isak currently trails only Erling Haaland in Premier League goal tallies this season, accounting for more than half of Liverpool's league goals.
