Alexander Isak named best Premier League striker by Teddy Sheringham

Former striker Teddy Sheringham has named Liverpool forward Alexander Isak as the best striker in the Premier League. While acknowledging Erling Haaland's consistency and record-breaking scoring for Manchester City, Sheringham praised Isak's phenomenal movement and goal-scoring instincts.

Isak, who joined Liverpool from Newcastle United for a club-record fee, faced a difficult debut season marked by fitness issues and injuries. However, he has shown a strong start to the current campaign, matching his previous season's goal tally early on. Sheringham expressed hope that Isak could win the Golden Boot this year due to his hunger for goals and ability to find space within the penalty area.
