Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko stated during a meeting with Russian Defense Minister Andrey Belousov that while both Belarus and Russia are preparing for war, they are actively seeking to avoid it. Lukashenko emphasized that constant readiness is necessary to prevent conflict in the western direction.
Lukashenko expressed gratitude to Moscow for supporting mutual military formations and providing advanced technical assistance, such as radar systems, to monitor the approximately 3,000-kilometer perimeter of the Union State.
