Alexander Nübel discusses life at Beşiktaş and exploring Istanbul

Beşiktaş goalkeeper Alexander Nübel has shared insights regarding his transition to life in Istanbul and his experiences with the club. The German goalkeeper expressed admiration for the atmosphere at Tüpraş Stadium, noting that the intense support from fans fulfills a childhood dream of playing in such environments.

Nübel highlighted that the city of Istanbul and the stature of Beşiktaş were significant factors in his decision to join the club. Outside of football, he has embraced a modest lifestyle to explore the city, utilizing public transportation such as ferries and IETT buses. He mentioned using an Istanbulkart to travel to Taksim and visiting the Asian side of the city.

Additionally, the 28-year-old goalkeeper expressed a passion for analog photography, using the hobby to document his travels through various neighborhoods of Istanbul.
