Alexander Nord sentenced to life for murder of rapper Gaboro

The Göta Court of Appeal has upheld the life sentence for 22-year-old Alexander Nord for the murder of rapper Gaboro, whose real name was Ninos Khouri. The killing occurred in a parking garage in Norrköping in December 2024 and was filmed, subsequently spreading on social media.

In addition to the murder, Nord was convicted of attempted murder following a shooting at an apartment in Gusum and several serious weapons offenses. The court ruled that the circumstances of the parking garage murder were so aggravating that a time-limited sentence was not possible.

Reports indicate the murder may have been commissioned by a rival gang for a promised sum of approximately 45,000 euros, though the defendant has denied the crime. A second defendant, a man in his thirties extradited from Germany, was acquitted of aiding and abetting the murder, a decision also upheld by the appeals court.
