Alexander Tomov announces presidential candidacy with Sergey Indzhov

Alexander Tomov, leader of the Bulgarian Social Democracy – Euroleavitsa party, has officially announced his candidacy for the presidency. He has selected entrepreneur and IT specialist Sergey Indzhov, the head of the party's Varna structure, as his running mate for the upcoming Dundukov 2 election.

The duo has submitted their documents to the Central Election Commission and presented a socio-economic program aimed at accelerating economic growth to 4–5%. Key priorities include tax system reforms, the introduction of progressive taxation, combating poverty and inflation, and stimulating investment. Tomov highlighted the need for urgent measures to improve Bulgaria's standing in European rankings, noting that the country remains at the bottom of several key indicators.

Their platform emphasizes a new model of governance characterized by dialogue between the ruling coalition and the opposition. Indzhov intends to integrate business models and modern technology into state administration to drive innovation and efficiency.
