Alexander Ullom horror film ‘It Ends’ set for August 2026 release

The horror thriller ‘It Ends’, written and directed by Alexander Ullom, is scheduled for theatrical release by NEON. The film will debut in limited release in New York and Los Angeles on August 21, 2026, before expanding nationwide on August 28, 2026.

The story follows four recent college graduates—James (Phinehas Yoon), Day (Akira Jackson), Fisher (Noah Toth), and Tyler (Mitchell Cole)—who find themselves trapped on an infinite, two-lane road surrounded by cosmic horrors. As they drive to escape the surrounding threats, the film explores themes of existential anxiety and the uncertain futures of the characters.

Following a premiere at South by Southwest, the film has gained attention for its inventive storytelling and its connection to Ullom’s personal experiences with depression. The production involves Snoot Entertainment, Aymara Films, and Please Hold Pictures.
