Alexander Volkanovski prepares for UFC title defense and planned collaboration with Islam Makhachev

UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski is preparing for a title defense against undefeated contender Movsar Evloev at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi. Ahead of the bout, Volkanovski expressed respect for Evloev, noting that the Russian fighter, who holds a 20-0 professional record, deserves more appreciation for his technical skills despite facing criticism from fans regarding his fighting style.

In a separate announcement, Volkanovski revealed plans for a culinary collaboration on his YouTube series, ‘Cooking With Volk’. He stated that he has discussed filming an outdoor cooking episode in the mountains of Dagestan with former rival and lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. The project aims to bring former combat sports rivals together in a non-competitive setting.
