Alexander Volkanovski targets striking battle with Movsar Evloev at UFC 333

Alexander Volkanovski has confirmed his intention to engage in a striking battle against Movsar Evloev during their featherweight title defense at UFC 333 in Abu Dhabi this October.

Despite concerns regarding Evloev’s Chechen grappling pedigree, the 38-year-old Australian champion expressed confidence in his ability to neutralize wrestling threats. Volkanovski cited his previous performance against Islam Makhachev as evidence that he can defend against elite grapplers and prevent being dominated on the mat.
