Alexander Zverev leads German Davis Cup team into quarterfinals

The German Davis Cup team has announced its squad for the final round in Bologna, scheduled from November 24 to 29. Led by Alexander Zverev, the team aims to secure its first title since 1993.

National coach Michael Kohlmann has nominated Zverev alongside Jan-Lennard Struff and the doubles specialists Kevin Krawietz and Tim Pütz. Kohlmann noted that Zverev’s decision to compete following an exhausting season highlights the importance of the national team to the player.

Germany is set to face Great Britain in the quarterfinals on November 26. Should they advance, a semifinal matchup against the winner of the Spain versus Austria contest awaits.
