Alexander Zverev showcases Jacob & Co. timepiece at US Open

During his US Open victory in New York, tennis champion Alexander Zverev drew attention for wearing a Jacob & Co. ‘The World Is Yours’ Dual Time Zone Tourbillon while lifting the trophy.

The luxury timepiece features a globe-shaped dial detailed with mountain ranges and coastlines, alongside a 30-second tourbillon that rotates twice as fast as a standard model. According to Quaid Walker, CEO of the luxury watch platform Bezel, the US Open has become a significant event for watch-spotting. It is common for sponsored players to undergo a ritual of switching from a more practical watch used during play, such as Zverev’s skeletonized Epic X, to a more high-profile piece for the trophy presentation.

While Zverev highlighted Jacob & Co., Rolex remains the official timekeeper for the four Grand Slam tournaments and continues to maintain a prominent presence throughout the event.
