Alexandra Lozano Kennedy faces massive U.S. immigration fraud allegations

Alexandra Lozano Kennedy is at the center of what experts describe as the largest alleged immigration fraud scandal in recent U.S. history. The former attorney, who has been forced to surrender her license in Washington and close her offices, faces two class-action lawsuits.

It is estimated that up to 54,000 clients may have been left in a state of legal limbo due to her practices. One victim, Isidro Mendoza Jiménez, reported paying $19,000 in hopes of securing legal residency and a work permit, only to be deported from the United States after living there for nearly four decades.

While Lozano Kennedy denies the accusations, officials warn of a rise in sophisticated immigration fraud. Daniel Sharp, head of the Los Angeles County Immigrant Affairs Office, noted that scammers are increasingly targeting vulnerable communities facing heightened migratory pressures.
