Alexandra of Hannover wears Grace Kelly's iconic Givenchy gown
Princess Alexandra of Hannover recently wore an iconic yellow Givenchy evening gown originally belonging to her grandmother, Grace Kelly. The sleeveless silk dress, designed by Hubert de Givenchy, was famously worn by Kelly in May 1962 during celebrations for the wedding of King Juan Carlos I of Spain and Princess Sophia of Greece in Athens.
While Grace Kelly styled the garment with long white gloves, diamonds, and a ceremonial sash, Alexandra opted for a more modern and minimalist approach. She paired the dress with gold bracelets, a delicate necklace, and a yellow diamond engagement ring, following her recent announcement of her engagement to Ben-Sylvester Strautmann.
This is not the first time Alexandra has utilized her grandmother's wardrobe; she previously wore a brown ensemble from Kelly's collection for the 2024 Monaco National Day celebrations.
